Default BATTERIES ON EBAY

Hunting on ebay for batteries found some really cheap 6v nimh and new at that. Selling as a pair or more for what you can get one at. Has anyone bought these and are the any good?[&:]

I am probably the last person who hasnt ever bought anything off Ebay, but I like to buy my stuff direct from the online retailer or manufacturer, that way I have a warrenty if it doesn't work.

I usually end up doing a search on ebay like "6v nimh" and get alot of returns for 1200mah batteries sold by sets of 3 with connectors. I've boughten 2 sets of these batteries now and they're good. I personally have used these for over a year, a friend I fly with also has used them for well over a year. The batteries have powerizer written on them. Shipping included I usually pay $8 a pack.

Shortman, do you really think he gives a Ratts ***** if you like to buy your stuff elsewhere??? He was asking if anybody had ever bought or used any, not if you thought it was a good idea to buy them. I just get tired of all the "well I haven't had any but I saw a guy or, whatever". If you haven't had any how can your opinion count??? [:@]

I have had a couple of these and they have done very well. I haven't had any problems out of them.

Just bought a set of three off ebay last night, should have them by the end of the week. I hope they are the same ones you guys got, they seem to cheap but since I can test them and be sure I decided to go for it.

Well, for the record, these Batts that I bought were 3 for $26 shipped. they would cost over $20 locally if I can get them, so we're not talking $3 here. But even saving 60% is useless if they are crap, which is why the origional asked if anyone knew about these batts, not about reasons not to buy them.......But he is still missing that plane I bet.....

Well sometimes I get cranky! And I just love posts by someone who has never had the product, or maybe even seen it for that matter and have an opinion about it. And then! They try to make themselves look smart or something by saying they would only buy from a place with a warrenty, or local shop etc.....

In the famous words of John Stossell GIVE ME A BREAK!

I like shorty don't get me wrong, but the kid knows everything about everything! Jeesh!

Well, I got mine, and yep, I got it good! Let the buyer be ware!!

Here is the auction:

http://cgi.EBAY.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWN:IT

I got the box and knew I was in trouble. I actaully said "Unless he sent me 6 instead of 3 these aint NiMH"

Well, there are 3 and they weigh 4.4oz each on my scale. That's more than my NiCds of the same or very close capacity. I was pissed and called the guy. First he said they weren't heavy. Then when I went down the list of other batteries I weighed, he said I should have read the auction. Sure enough, it's right there. So I now have 3 very heavy batteries I wouldn't put in a plane I hated!!

After we got over the "It's in the auction" part, he said most guys buy NiMh to get away from memory, not for the weight. I said "Not in the world I fly in"

So, anybody want some batteries?

Gordo, those weren't the batteries I was refering to, infact I've never seen nimhs like that before, they look like liipos or something.

They are sold by "All-Batteries"
I can't find the 1200mah ones I like so much, but here are some 1800s they're selling just for an example, note the powerizer written on them

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...905958021&rd=1

1100s here

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...906348133&rd=1

And if you can't get Gordo's link to work, copy the ebay item # from the link and paste it into ebays search.

Never seen any like that. I got (4) 4.8v 1800mah, nimh, and (3) 6v 1800 mah Nimh packs shipped to me for less than 50 bucks with the conectors. Seem fine so far.

Gordo I don't know about you batts, but you got the wrong ones bud!
