We were off today (supposed to rain) so my boss, who happens to be the club president calls me first thing and wants me to help him maiden his warbird, so as any good employee I went to help him.

Notice the motor is still running, I got too low and a sticker bush snagged my elevator. I goosed it and even the 100 couldn't pull it free, so I let it fall and it kept running I pulled it free and gave it a toss.

To add fuel to the fire...I'm off until August 25th (I teach so it comes with the job...pay sucks but gotta love the vacations!!). Today was a build day but I will be flying tomorrow during the day...and the next day and the next day...I'll either dork through my hanger in the next week and spend the rest of the summer rebuilding (the most likely scenario) or I'll spend several days a week at the field flying...and occassionally fixing some stupid dork I'll inevitably do...So, by August I will either be MUCH better on the sticks or I'll be MUCH better building with sticks. Either way it sounds like fun. Now, if I could only get the daytime temps below 105...

I finished a new little bird last night and did not have time to give it a good breakin' in before the storm hit, so I drove 40mins home at lunch today to give it a good flogging! I even managed to do the #9 in my garage with it!

I didn't work today either....

Damn, I am at work now. At least you guys don't have to work on your vacations!!![:@][:@][:@][&:], makes me sick when I could be sleeping in and hanging around the house or flying but I have to wake up at 6am and work everyday all summer
