Hey all,
I have just finished building my mini funfly (.25) and I want to know how to do the wall I'm pretty confident on AFP but I want to know if im doing it right. On AFP I approach the wall in level flight cut the throttle and hit the elevator to go vert. to hover. Is that how you do it the correct way or is there a different way.
As for the snap roll I have no idea how to do this but I would like to know how to do it. If any one could tell me the stick movements to get me started that would be great.

Your wall sounds about right. Just beware of speed and feel it out first. Be awake on the ailerons and rudder as well to counter any kind of wing drop etc.
Snap you going to have to experiment more with. Every plane has a different way it likes to do it. Some will only snap inverted and some planes do not mind. Remember a snap is done with power on and not with the engine at idle. Do not try the first time at full throttle cause you might rip things apart. Unlikely but possible. Make sure you got some height and shove sticks in corners
Conventional method suggests moving to for instance full up, full right ailerons and full right rudder. Or left for that matter. Outside snap would most likely require you to cross the left and right. In other words left aileron and right rudder on the sticks with full down elevator. Some planes do not like it when you add elevator and you could make it snap with only rudder and ailerons. Play with it. Some planes like just elevator and rudder etc etc etc. You'll know for sure when it pulled a snap, I do not think anyone could miss the chaos and violence of a snap roll. Oh and of course there is the odd one out plane that will not snap at all. Some comp fun fly's I've flown will not pull a descent snap at all, just a fake snappy looking thingy. One wing will be completely stalled and the other side will be flying. Oh and then there's of course getting out of it. With a fun fly you should be able to just let go of sticks and she'll fix herself. Just be ready. Have fun!! OH! and do not do it the first time a meter off the runway!!!

but when you do get confidant and the expiration date is nearing on your plane try the snap from the runway. Yesterday I was doing them from wheels rolling on the deck. My taco will finish about one foot higher than I start. It does get your heart going

Hmmmmmmmmm,
Sounds like a very good way to get the adrenilane going if you ask me, but I'll give it a shot.
For the wall I have already found this out the hard way on AFP that is
I have lost count of how many times I've decked the Cap 232 trying to do a wall and ended up stalling it. I have found that the Giles and Extra 330 have been much mor forgiving in the way of aerobatics, is this typical of the real models of these aircrafft to?
Anyway, that profiles screaming at me from the shelf to be covere but school started again today so I have little or no time left know for amoter 9 weeks[:@][:@][:@]
