The TopCat looked like a weedeater the first few tries.
I set it in the tall grass i was praticing over 3 times.
4 th time on the runway touched the rudder Few off. Almost crashed after I was so pumped. LOL

I gotta admit though, you're hovering is much better, the practice is paying off. Maybe if I can ever get my engine running, I'll join the tail touchers.

I just hovered my SuDoKhoi into the corn field Saturday.... What a rip!!! hovered it all the way in and landed in the corn!! The engine was still running!! Awesome feeling!!

Way to go Frawg. I'm gettin the stones to do that too. I have no clue what got into me Sunday morning. I hadnt flown in 3 weeks or so, and thought I would be rusty. Exactly the opposite had happened. I was jonesing soo badly to fly, that I took the gloves off and went nuts with my Magic. Had a crowd of about 20-30 just watching. I even had guys land so they could watch (and I dont mean that I was scarin the poop out of them, they just wanted to see what everyone else was hootin n hollerin about.) The hovering/pseudo TR's were gettin lower n lower, and I was losin the fear, feedin off the adrenaline. Doin great walls at 1/3 throttle on the far side of the runway, stoppin at less than 15 ft high, and was backin it down. Came within 12 inches of droppin it down into the tall stuff across the runway, which is the absolute lowest I've ever gone intentionally. (Mind you, our club is not the biggest into 3d stuff, I wanted to be the first to do an intentional tail touch) 3rd time in, got it under 12 inches, and pitched forward, a lil too much down elevator and bounced it in the grass/briar bushes. Bent the stork gear out a lil, and put some clay on the prop. Started it back up, and went at it all over again. I think that was the best flying day I've ever had. I have no clue what got into me, but I like it. This is why I could never possibly get into doin crack. I'd be like that lil monkey who just sits there pressin the button in the lab experiments. LOL That poor magic is on borrowed time, at least in this incarnation. If I have to recover it, Im gonna make it look like a stork, complete with monokote beak and eyes. May have to do a bomb drop under the wing, shaped like a lil baby blanket, and use one of my daughters discarded doll heads. (That might tend to cause some excitement
