I hovered mine with a bearing 40 to start with.... I think any good 46 or up to .53 would be perfect for this plane.... Just don't go over 18 oz. for your engine and muffler combo.

The weight of a .60 will kill the performance of any .40 size profile.

The reason these planes fly like they do is because the wing loading is down around 15 oz/SQft.

Keep the planes as light as possible then your motor choice isnt a crucial. ( as long as its a Saito .72 )

I run st 45 and know of several who use Irvine 53, either of these would be the best choice. St 60 is to much.

OK. Would a SUPER TIGRE 46 BULL RING do the trick?

Default No Way on the 60

I'm flying my Sudo with an OS 46FX with standard muffler and love it!!!!! I had great vertical with a wood 11-4 then I switched to an APC 12.25 x 3.75 and it got even better. I would highly recommend the 46FX.

I agree the FX46 is the best choise with a ultra thurst and the 12.25X3.75 Or the Saito 72 is killer, but the 60? NO WAY, its just too heavy!.... BENDER
