Here's mine ready for flight.
I'm balancing 4" from the leading edge. Seems a little back for my tastes.
I'm running a 46fx as far forward as possible - heavier engines should be a snap with this weight distro.
Flight report later this PM hopefully.

Flight report - a short shake down flight. Have one of the better flyers fly her:
- little or no trim adjuestments needed
- *extreemly* stable
- CG ok - just a bit of down elev to keep level in inverted flight.
Will really try her out tomorrow - wanted to keep it rather docile to make sure there weren't any stress areas that needed beefing up.
Flew with FX46 and Zinger 12x4 prop.
Came in at 4lbs 3oz - really wanted her under 4 lbs - I'll have to see where I can snag 3 oz.
Happy I built her rather than go the ARF route.
Thanks Wayne - I wanted someting a little different from what you normaly see in color trims.
bugsiegel - that is actually my work room - I know it really looks like a kitchen! I went a little crazy during renovation because I always had gone the hollow core door over file cabinets. I do have to tell you that Corain is one of the best sufaces to work on. Perfectly flat and everything come off either by scraping with a single edge blade or windex.
P.S. Can, if someone can just tell me the code for getting customer servic from Morris - I still have not gotten my hatches, servo, or 2nd pull-pull kit I was shorted on. (3x calls and 2x e-mails).
Thanks.

Thanks Wayne - I will call Debbie - that is the code word I was looking for!
Flew more today and handed over to 2 very experienced operators.
Did everything except a flat spin. Need to put a touch of weight in the back - will try that tomorrow.
They were pretty impressed with the stock 46fx and muffler - getting to build it makes the difference!
Still looking for those 3 oz! sub 4lb is so close!
Thanks for a great plane Williams RC.

I agree with wgeffon.
Call Debbie. She will take care of you. I've gotten everything I need in less than a week by talking to her.
She really does a good job.
