Default Knife - Balance and Right Thrust?

I took my Knife out this weekend and it was extremely difficult (and dangerous) to take of without jumping all over the place. When trying to land, it would just float instead of flying lower, losing altitude. A couple of experienced Profilers came up to me and told my CG was way too far back.

Question: When I pick up the knife by the screw at 4.5, it stays at the attitude it's at...i.e, slightly nose up as it looks when resting on the ground. My friends told me when I pick it up, the nose should come down a little, making the horizontal stab more parallel to the ground. Any thoughts? I know as it stands now, it's to dangerous to fly until I move the CG forward.

Question: anyone add right thrust to the Knife?
