Given those three options, the OS 55AX is the hands down winner.

An APC 13x4 on the 55 AX will make that BB into a very capable 3D machine.

Reason? OS70 too heavy?

Depends on which OS 70 you have. The Surpass is a couple ounces heavier than the 55 AX. The Ultimate is about the same weight as the 55 AX. But the 55 AX will be much more powerful than either of them, which will make your BB more fun to fly.......especially 3D.

Yep its the Surpass.

The 55AX is a nice engine which I have in a Skyraider Mach II (just for kicks)

Thanks

I am considering a BB electric conversion. A possible power set up calls for a 15" prop. Would someone please tell me if the BB has enough ground clearance to accept a 15" prop? If not, what might be the maximum comfortable prop size? Thanks.

A 15" prop should be no problem at all.

Awaiting arrival of ESC. Otherwise, electric BB is assembled.

Electric BB's maiden went WELL. Three flight were kept to simple trimming. Still working on getting CG just where I want it. Did sneek in a little knife edge and a spin. Once CG is set, it appears VERY little TX adjustment will be need for the plane to be rock solid in the knife edges. Already, with batteries a bit forward of where they will end up, hovering is a snap. Once they come back a touch more, hovers will approach hands off. Acft has unlimited vertical.

ESC on my Bad Boy browned out. Jump to about 4:00 on the video for result. Nice new Castle ESC should solve the problem. Repairs have been made.
