how many profiles do you own and do you have any planes with a fuse. Man that was hard to say( a plane with a fuse).

i have 3 profiles a
Sledge , OMP 540 edge and a giant size.

and a Hangar9 120 edge 540, and a GP extra 300s never have flown the GP and only flew the big edge 11 times

i was just wondering if profile guys ever fly real planes ( as other people call them LOL )

Once you go profile you just cant go back

I have 2 flyable profiles, a MTK and Topcap. Plan on building a Sledge as my winter project. I do still fly real planes though. Gotta UCD3D that I need to finish up and I regularly fly my Kyosho Sensation and Mustang. Problem is I've got 7 flyable models, all of which I enjoy flying, but getting them out to the field is a pain. Variety is the spice in life I guess...

For me, modeling is too much fun in all aspects - not just fun flying or profiles. I have on hand at any one time at least 15 to 20 ready to fly planes (all ready to go at my whim to fly) ranging from my 3 or 4 profile/fun flies, couple of full house 1/2A jobs, 3 giant scale gassers (aerobatic), some regular sport models in sizes from .15 to .91, and of course I fly SAM old timers also, have 3 or 4 of them. I also have at least one heli to fly.
Just got into jets this pastyear and I fly my Super Reaper turbine powered jet for fun.

ALL different planes to fly, youknow VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE! Or maybe thats why inover 20 years of flying I never once thought about quitting, or got burned out. Just keep flying different planes and you stay fresh and interested... JMHO!

Its all about having fun...

BUT that being said, If I had to choose one type of plane to fly only, it would definitely be a profile fun fly, theyare just toomuch fun, capable of anything and easy to maintain and haul around.

I have a few planes with conventional fuselages. My Pizazz, a quicky, my trainer, and a Sig Wonder all have fuses.... Except for the Pizazz, I just don't fly them much.... And event the Pizazz is getting a little old.... fun in the wind though......

I'm with ajcoholic, there are just so many directions to go.... everything is fun....

I have fun with everything.

Knife and Extreme 330 for the profile. Something Extra, Ultrastick 40, Uproar, Cub, Big Stick, Zagi, Spirt (gilder), Stinger (not so much fun), Super Stunts, Aresti, Zen 30.

Building or getting ready, Ultimate Fun Fly (just bought it build), Ok I just realized this list is way to long.

Flew my Uproar this weekend as I have not flown it for awhile. What a great plane. I think it is one of the best values out there.

My favorite is the Something Extra with the Knife number 2.

Default Hmmmmmmmm

I only have 1 profile if you don't consider my control line planes.........

All the rest of my hangar is full of full-figured beauties!!!!

I primarily fly 1/2 A's and q500 pylon, but I have really gotten bitten by the Profile bug now. There may be another profile in my future, but I think the little Jupiter would get jealous....

Currently flying I have:

1 Profile (Knife ARF)

There are two Sledge 540's on the building board right now (one for me and one for a friend)

2 Full Fusalage (Magic, Electrijet)

2 No Fusalage (Zagi, Razor)

The plane I am flying the most is the Knife. Followed by the Magic and the Zagi. The poor Electrijet and Razor haven't flown in months.

I like to scratch build profiles, and play around with design perameters. I tend to not keep any one plane around for to long. I'll fly it for awhile and then build another to try and improve on my designs. So I have a bunch of them laying around, but I also have some gas powered IMAC planes, and a few sport planes from 40 size through 1/4 scale. I think I fly the profiles and the gassers the most, though. They seem to be similar because of the 3D thing......

I'm running a OS .46FX with a Mac tuned pipe. I only have a few flights on it so I have not had a chance to really know the plane but I do like it. With full rudder it just holds on to knife edge. I have heard from several people it need's 1/2 to 1 inch surface added to the rudder to get a good knife edge out of it. But beside that I really like it so far.
