Flip 3D .25
The .25 version was introduced over here early this summer, and is selling like hotcakes, if you judge by the number of them "popping up" everywhere...
Down_shift, a Saito .56 might be a bit much, this one has a OS 32SX with a Hartley muffler, which is plenty for any maneuver you might want to try, including unlimited vertical. Hovering does require a lot of rudder input.
Other specs, JR 321's on the ailerons, rudder and elevator servos are Futaba 9601's, with a Futaba 3101 for the throttle. Dry weight is 1460 grams (3.2 lbs), including the 20g of lead in the tail.
A friend at another field I fly at has one powered by a 25FX, he's still wringing it out but seems to have quite sufficient power also.

Digger - thanks for the info. Any chance you have the plane's specs available? Wing span, wing area, etc? Could the plane swing a 12-inch propeller?
As they are not available in the states, would you be interested in being a "dealer" and mailing new one to me as well?

I can't hardly wait until they ship the .40 size from Tower. Have had mine on order since August
Digger, give the engine some right thrust (start with 2 degrees), and your rudder input at hovering should be getting a lot better.

The specs are supposed to be on the Kyosho site, unfortunately only the figures for the .40 are available...
For the .25:
Span...1240 mm Length 1250 mm Wing Area 42 dm2
The size of prop depends on the engine, down_shift, up to a .40 4 stroke is recommended.
Thanks, Texas, have right thrust, wrong thumbs...! :stupid:
Edited: Forgot to say, down_shift, I could send you one but I don't think you'd like the shipping fee. May bring a few kits to the States around Christmas, don't know yet...
