OMP YAK 65" is tough
Yesterday I richen my OS 120 a little (first time I've touched the carb in a year) and on the next flight I, like a dumb *** did not run up the engine to clear it out and guess what, 25 or 30' in the air and it quit. With all the throw I have I thought that I could flare some, but in went straight in, hard. Broke one wing tab off, the other split, wing tube bent a little. Fuse no damage at all, no rib damage, had it back together in no time. If this had been a full fuselage plane I'll still be picking up peaces.
Thanks OMP and Paul Swany
I have both

Yes. They are very tuff. I flew mine all last summer with several small and large duffs. It's too bad it didn't make it thru an inverted dive at 35+ MPH. PUSH don't pull!!!!!! Wow. That was a brain fart.....
Good luck with yours. I'm replacing mine with a Fusion, but might have to get me another one.

Thank you DP and Iowa! Next time you are flying upside down, have your buddy stand beside you and yell constantly "PUSH....PUSH....PUSH" sort of like a birthing coach! LOL

Thanks
I did'nt get my push or pull on the elevator confused (this time). I took off (brain dead) without clearing out the motor that I had just richen some. I was going vertical and at about 30" my motor quit in that Danger Zone. It looked just like that video of what happened to the Fusion in Nashville at the PROBRO flyin.
And since I said Fusion, I ordered a Fusion from OMP, Monday. I feel like I have a new girlfrend and she is on the way to see me.
