The E.F. Edge is flies looser and I think it does better knife edge. If you've become comfortable with hovering and harriers, go for the E.F. Edge, well worth the extra bucks.

Hi guys,

Just order a EF 540 edge. How would a Saito 72 engine do on one of these on 25% fuel? Got one of these with out a home right now. Thx for the help.

Your Saito 72 would be a great engine for the Edge.

The 82 is just a punched out 72. It weighs the same, but has more power. If you have the extra cash, go for the 82.

But, NO. It won't make it fly like a brick at all. I'd say a Saito 100 or 120 would though

I run a YS63 on mine and Sloanfs beats me on pullout but not by as much as you would think. The saito 72 or 82 would be excellent choices.

the 63 must run hard for u to compare it to a saito 100......i have a 63 on a omp edge but havnt flown it yet, hoped it will run as good as my 82 saito on the accell katana that impresses me each time i fly it

Jeff is right, There isn't that much difference. The first 10 feet from a hover is where I notice it, after that it's about even. I don,t in any way advocate the 100 as the best choice for a .40 size profile but It's kinda fun And I'll always have 1 flying, It's kinda my thing

I wonder if the EFRC 540 profile would fly similarly to the Mojo ARF that is coming out? It looks like the specs are pretty close.

Any help will be appreciated, mmmm wondering what performance could a TT .46 would give to the edge and the correct prop to upgrade the hover (if any with that engine) and what prop can I use with a TT .61?

Hey Guys,
I'm looking for plans and instructions on a profile 540 Edge except this one is something like a 27 percenter. We were given the wings sheeted, the tail feathers, the support tubes and aluminum tubes, landing gear and a profile fuse. What we need is something to build this mother by so we get everything in the right place. Can anyone direct to a source? Thanks.
Take care,
Bob

As far as I know OMP is the only ones who had anything close to that size. But if memory serves they had built up wings. Good luck.
