OMP 47" Edge dead, what next?
Hi gang,
Dead battery killed my OMP edge today, so I immediately want to buy a new one. The OMP Katana looks like a number one choice, what would you folks recommend? Is there better arf profile for my Supertigre G-51?
thanks,
DT

Man, that does stink! I had the same thing happen about 2 years ago with my OMP Yak. I was able to repair the plane though as it wasn't that bad. The katana profiles are a step up from the Edge and the Yak profiles. The Edge and Yak make for good entry level planes because they are so stable. the Katana has a bit more agility.

Yeah, the Edge was super stable. It would almost work as a trainer it handled so nicely. Ordered my Katana last night, and it shipped out this morning - can't wait!
I assume the engine I had on my Edge will fly the Katana with the same authority.
