Electric Top Cap? Anyone done it?
Hi.
I'm new to the electric flight thing. Although I've had a couple foamies I keep eyeballing a Morris Top Cap 40 ARF sitting in my garage. I'm not much of a glow guy anymore and was wondering if anyone has done a 40 sized profile with an electric motor. If so, what motor, prop, esc, battery combo would you suggest I use?
Thanks!
Dave

RE: Electric Top Cap? Anyone done it?
Dave,
I wish I could offer you some advice as I think this will be a fun project. My wife wanted to get me an e-foamy 3d ship for Christmas, I knew that the final figure with an outrunner, esc, micros, and xtra lipos would be alot more than what she was thinking, so I ordered the Top Cap figutrg to use on hand glow gear. I notice that there is one or two big outrunners that claim to be mopre powerful than a .46, one of those would be a hot set-up no doubt. I'm sure you'll get lot's of ideas here.
