RE: New Fusion Pics, also for sale
I bought one of Jim's Fusions, i will say the craftmanship was excellent, the covering was fault free and the plane flew straight and true with no trim and held together with a OS 160 on it.
This may not mean a dam thing to anybody, however I will recomend Jim to anyone needing a bird built. In this world of ARF's nice to have hobbiest who luv to build and are great at it.
That is myself and AFSolmon as he see that I really put a OS 160 on a Fusion.

I'd definitely put money on the 120AX as well. That's the motor I want to try on a Fushion one day. Now I'm just waiting for the national lottery to come my way so I can afford the motor and the servos

Lets see YS 110 heavy needs atleast 20% Nitro. Saito 125 lighter runs on 15% and swings an APC 17X4 W 9400! My Fusion 90 has a Saito 125. Saito 125 lighter than the OS 91. Ys has been matched!

Iowa....I thought my statement would get your goat! Now what kind of fuel do you run in your YS? Have you spent any time with a Saito 125? You also forgot Saito's are easier to pickup at any LHS but. Put one on your Fusion and get back to us...Matched was a conservative statement.

Now I know YNOT put an OS160 on his Fusion but YNOT is shall we say an extreme pilot! As the designer of the Fusion I can't recommend such power on a 7 lb plane. Not really designed for that much power unless you build yourself and reinforce probably with longer bigger engine rails, flying wires, maybe even longer gear? Now the new 120s out there really show some promise I think.

YS has not been matched! NOBODY come close to reliability, transition, and quality. The Saito 125 is also a tad more expensive.

RE: New Fusion pics, 3rd one
Everybody knows that there has never been a YS that has run right...
baawwhhaaa...
I've never seen anything pull like a YS 1.10... I've got one on my OMP 65" Yak and it's a stump puller... 7 lbs 4oz AUW...
Haven't flown a Saito 125 yet... A Bro just put one on a Mojo 65" and is going to maiden it this weekend... We'll see then...
Swinging a 17X4W APC at 9400 doesn't tell the whole story... I want to see what the low end & mid-range torque is like before I buy in...
