Default Fusion 90 on the deck

Hey guys, like to share some pics on my new Fusion 90 on the deck. Man this thing is fun to fly. Flys on a string, nice IMAC lines, Nice slow rolling circles. Rolling harriers make me look better than I am. Does a great elevator. And then when you bring it down it hovers like a dream. This plane in a 80' would take the market by storm.

I am covering my Fusion as I write this and I also enlarged the plans 25% - comes out to be 80" WS - I'll keep you guys posted as I build it and check it out.... Probably use a Saito 1.80 to power it

dprater, what's your set up, weight etc? It looks great. How do you like it compared to your 65" Yak?

Thanks guys

I'm using the new Saito 125, 17 x 4 APC, hovers less than half throttle. Hitec 5645's on 6v. weight's 7 lbs 4 oz.

William- sorry to see you leave S.C. but hope the move was a good one and lots of luck there.

Are those the pics that Conrad took last Sunday? That is a sweet plane, nice flying on your part too. Did you fix the engine shim yet? I hope to be flying the SPAD soon.

Hey Guys, How would the larger Fusion handle the weigh of a Saito 1.50? Thanks.

It will be fine. Mine has a YS110 on it. She floats forever and I have to push it to land.

That was pics. for two Sundays ago, last Sunday was too windy for me. It was only the third time at the field with this plane so I think I will tweak a few other things before I change the off set of the motor.

If I already had a Saito 150 that's what I would use, it would handle it. The battery would probably end up behind the ailerons for balance. But if you are buying a motor the 125 Saito has insane power for the plane, hovers about 1/3 throttle.

That's what I have on mine and it works great. Weight is 7lbs 12oz, but the plane still floats like a kite. And the power is incredible. If you have a 1.50, use it. You won't regret it!

Yeah Joe, I saw your great looking Fusion in RC Report. That got me interested. I've had a new 1.50 laying around for several years just waiting for a model. What prop do you use in this set up with your 1.50, size tank, pump?, servos?, and battery type/size? Thanks.
