Default LOWEST Snap Roll on Take Off!

You can't get any lower than Chad (coony2787) did yesterday!
OMP 40 size Edge 540, Saito 72.
When the snap roll was complete and the plane was level again, the landing gear was back on the runway/ and ready for another take off!!!
Several people were witness to it. Chad was in shock for a brief moment there, along with others as well.

i take my omp edge and do loops starting on the ground and ending on the ground, highest point is about 3 feet if that, i landed mine invereted several times dragging the tail for too long. i love this plane and its great. i did a snap roll low but it was to low and wing touched as it went around, no damage.

That was probably neat to see. Its fun to do a snap roll on take off. Most of the time it pitches it up a little, so when you come out of it your a little higher from what you started. Thats what funfly planes are made for, to amaze yourself and to beat around!

At my club i go to I saw an aerobatics show put on by these 2 guys, both were flyin 40%ers, one did a snap probably 5 feet off the ground when he entered and was probably 2 feet off the ground when he ended the snap! the wings were very close to the ground

How about lowest knife edge? Darren Eaton almost got away with a KE take-off at the last fun-fly I was at. Grass field, he got his Jerry's spoiler rolling enough to lift a wing, pitched it up on the wing tip and kept it there for ~50-75 feet in KE, one wingtip down on the ground, the other straight up in the air, gradually building speed. Everyone started hootin & hollerin, and I thought he was going to pull it off. Just as the nose started to pitch up, the wing caught a rise, and she cartwheeled going probably 35 MPH. Totally destroyed the wing & busted up the fuse real bad. He was as pumped about almost making it as anyone, & I'll bet if he keeps at it he'll get it. The guy's a nut with some of the stuff he does, truly amazing, and he & Jeff Heightman make the Thistledown fliers nightflies a blast. They do a couple a year, if you get the chance next year, I highly recommend them for the fun-fly guys out there. A great barbeque, Stadium lights, pitch black corn field all around you, and a great bunch of guys just havin fun.
