Carb for a Magnum 52 2 Stroke
Just finishing up a Burrito and deciding on an engine. Have a NIB Magnum 52 2 stroke on the shelf. My experience with a couple others I've had is great power but crappy mid-range and not real great transition-didn't matter as much as on easy flyers but don't need the problems with a 3D profile. I know I saw a post on putting a different carb on these with good luck-maybe an OS 40D, I can't remember and didn't have much luck searching for it. Any help appreciated.

RE: Carb for a Magnum 52 2 Stroke
I like Perry Carbs. I bought 2 carbs from them without hitch; one for my Rossi 60 and another for my dads Super Tigre 2000 - Reasonably priced, outstanding performance, smooth transition throughout: On startup out of the box - the very OLD super tigre needed literally 1 tick for low end - purrrs like a cat and transitions very well, no adjustments for hi-end. The Rossi needed 4-5 total clicks - which if you're not familiar with Rossi's, this was IMHO the test of all tests... the R60 took to it as if they were made for one another.
