MY MINIMALIST FIELD BOX
HI GUYS,
LONG TIME NO SEE!!
Well i've been spending most of my spare time (which isn't much) designing and whittling down my new field box to the bare bones minimum and here it is, it cost 50 pence for the 1/8" plywood, plus scraps and a bit of broom pole for the carry handle cum chicken stick.
and i put 4 rubber door stops on the bottom to keep it out of the gut fudge on damp days,
1 ltr bottle with aluminium bottle cap (presurves my fuel) gets me six flights (in between chewing the fat with my clubmates)
I carry 5.5mm nut driver, ball link pliers, straight slot and cross head long idle screwdriver set, a 5/8 prop nut spanner, glow plug spanner, microw s/driver,microw spanner set, box of spare bits- screws- nuts plugs- ect.
glow start, peg board (which holds the chicken handle in place) B.M.F.A. CARD, and my radio fits onto the box.
SO THATS BOX IN ONE HAND!! BIRD IN THE OTHER!! TRAVLIN LITE!!
