OK guys this one is up for a poll. Please email me and let me know if I'm nuts or what your thoughts are on this.
Here goes
I have a dazzler ARF that I want for a fun fly machine. I have put it together pretty much stock except for double beveling all control surfaces. All rods upgraded to 4-40 with ball links and extended horns. I have on the nose a Saito .72 swinging a 14x4 prop. Prop is standard zinger but thinking of upgrading to a zinger pro 14x5. I have extended landing gear slightly to clear our grass field. I am looking for all out twisted and wild flight. I am hoping it will do extened cartwheels flying sideways. It's a really excellent move. I hope to fly it soon and have pictures but wanted some input for all you pros out there as to what you think I can expect.
Also if you think the wings are going to rip off the first flight let me know also. I do know that throttle managment will be manditory!!!
Best Regards And MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!

Well after getting G2 and playing around with it alot, I thought the Dazzler was a fair contender for a fun plane.
I got it in a trade with my dad, and now she's ready to go with lots of the tips from owners here at RCU.
OS FX 46 motor with Futaba computer radio. APC 11x6 prop will be the maiden stick.
I'm thinking about putting a couple micro gyros in it to help me learn to hover.... any suggestions on that anyone?

From: Sheppard AFB, VT,
I built an Uproar witch is basically the same as a Dazzeler. My friend had a Dazzeler and it flies exactly the same. I busted the tail off mine once so during the fix I modified it to look like a Dazzeler (rounded top of the fuselage) and that did not affect the performace at all. Mine has a OS46FX with a 12-4 prop. It could hover it with a lot of coaxing. It would Knife edge AWESOME
I then met someone that is on the extreme side of 3D flying and he recommended some changes for me. I made the horizontal stabilizer smaller and what I took off the horizontal stab I added to the elevators. I chopped the sides of the horz stab off and put them the on the elevators. Counterbalance elevators. I did the same to the rudder. Tail section looks just like a Top Cap. I also moved the Elevator and Rudder servo's to the tail section. Free tail weight. Put a 6v battery in it. It now will hover much better. I am now thinking of making it more tail heavy :stupid: :greedy: It is still a dog compared to a Top Cap but it is very forgiving. I have been flying mine for 5 years and it is still my favorite plane.
