Nice snapshots Gator...
... but grabbing a plane mid-air, regardless of skill, is damn risky (duh). Hard hat and chain mail gloves required (because AMA would probably not cover injury in this case)!
While it's tempting, hell if I'm going to catch my plane mid-hover... even a well-trained dog bites its owner on the rare occasion. He he!

i agree, about grabbing the plane in a hover, especial by the gear. it dangerous.
Jess(v1vrv2) is probably the best pilot I have ever seen. He can torgue roll that OMP edge as smooth as a frank knoll does a 40%. harrier rolls are smooth as silk.
One thing that I learn from watching Jess fly. Its not the size of the airplane, its how it's set up, and who's flying it.

If you can afford the deductible on your current insurance, and are willing to take the chance, I say grab em if you can. AMA is secondary insurance, thats all they would pay anyway.
We fly because baseball, basketball, and football only require one ball!

Jeff, I have friends in the Louisville area and would love to come up for some visiting and flying. Any fly-ins or IMAC's going on late spring/early summer?
Maybe you need to put on a Pro-Bro fly-in. It is a good central location.
