It is going to have a 80" wing and it will be sporting a moki 2.10.
think it will be enough power?I am going to sheet the wings and elevator with 1/16th balsa and the fuse has been sheeted with 3/32 and I also glassed the tail section around the elevator mounting area under the sheeting to help it from twisting under a load.It seems to be very sturdy.

I hope to start mine as soon as I finish the .60 Sudo I'm working on. Todd has been going to town on cutting the fuse and wing cores. I have the fuse core that he cut from pink foam and it looks really nice. He cut the first wing core set the other day and it looked good too. We are using TNT wing tubes, 1 1/2 " diameter x 42" long so we should be good in the spar carry through. Right now it looks like conventional foam and balsa construction. Todd is really doing a nice job on his! With the big Moki's on them we hope to have as much fun with them as the smaller Morris planes and be able to hover and do all the other fun stuff. I'm sure he will keep posting so we can watch progress. Pete

It looks like you cropped a couple inches of WS from the original. That seems like a good idea to me. Was it intentional ?
What is the chord measure, or better yet what is the total area of the wing ?
Even if the all up dry weight of this plane rtf with the Moki 2.10 is over 12# you're gonna have a winner .

I went to Todd's house Sunday and checked out the new bird. It's one BAD boy! The Moki will be an awesome power plant. The construction looks great and I think it will be a winner! (Now that I gave you an on line complement, can I fly it when it's done???) Pete

As far as the wing span on this plane I had read a few threads on the big sudo and they seemed to think it flew better with a little shorter wing.I have just left the wing tips off so if I need to I could always add later.I have also changed the elevator setup to have balanced tips on it.I think everything is going to work out well. Our next project will be the 160 powered knife{that Pete will call the butcher knife}CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the colors I ended up with on my 60 Su-Do. Look familiar??? I'll lose the paper in the next week or so, and get some vinyl cut. I've never seen a Giant Su-Do up close, I'll bet it's a sight to see.
