In a word, NO!!!!!!!! It will do anything you ask as long as it doesnt involve being on its side. It has no knifeedge capability whatsoever.

Been flying mine for a year now (I think thats gotta be a magic record or somethin).

Default uhhh....no

Definitely WILL NOT knife edge....

It DOES perform outside loops very easily though. >> (Josh ??)

I have flown 2, one with a Magnum 52 4 cy. the other with a Saito 50, both had plenty of power... Both were a blast to fly!

Hope all is well,
james

Default will the Magic knife edge???

might get close with a whole heap of mixing...
tho i can do it with a Cougar unaided, cant loop, it just flicks over into a spin at the top.
Build a better rudder.

Default will the Magic knife edge???

Have seen one where the wing tips were taken off and large rectangular bits of balsa (12" x 6" I guess) were put on, to increase side area. It looked a bit odd but knife edged very well!

Mine can do inside and outside loops, as tight as a fuse length with the hi rates and flaperons going. It will also do a halfway respectable knifedge spin coming down, inverted and upright flat spins, and climbing spins. It's all in the weight, cg and rates. Mine is 3 3/4 lbs with tail wires 9a definate necessity), and a 720 nimh 4 cell battery sunk in the back of the fuse. I'm running a TT36 and 11/3 APC prop as well. Tried mixing out the roll coupling, and it didnt work all that well. There have been a couple pics of ones where side area was added via fins on the top and bottom. For the $99.00 they ask for the plane, you cant beat it with a stick.

Default will the Magic knife edge???

I dont own a magic but have flown one for a guy at my field many times to help him set it up and i have also flown my brothers. I test flew a magic for this guy with a 46fx and a 12/3 prop. This thing was stock out of the box with no mixing and it would do pretty respectable knife edges. And as others said it would do outside loops untill you could not see straight. My brothers was a different story. He bought his from a guy at the field who changed the rudder to be fully flying( whole rudder moved). I have no clue what the difference between these two were besides the motors ant the rudder but my brothers would not knife edge at all. I believe that if you have the balance point just right and can get just the right amount of rudder it will knife edge. Just my thoughs
