or the kat 40. It will give you plenty of power but not to much. don't order it from omp though go to accelhobbies.com and get the V1 for 119 dollars to your door (the v2 from OMP is like 149+shipping).

The 82 will not have enough power for Kantana 70 I have a 100 on mine and wouldn't want anything less. I have a 82 on a Mojo 40 and I like it alot. It's a little more than you need on a 40 size plane but I would have to much power than not enough.

there's a big difference in quality between the V1 and V2 Kats (actually i have issues with the V2). Lots of folks have had the wings fold on the V1. I'd do a bit of research before buying. Anyway, I would consider your 82 to be just right for a 40 sized profile, as mentioned above. Plenty of power, but more importantly, plenty light for the airframe.

Who has the Satio 82 in their 40 size plane? How is it holding up to the vibrations of the big 4 stroke. I am fairly certian I will be going with a 40 size profile for this motor. Like I said just want to know which one can handle the motor. If I have to I will go back to a Funtana 40 non profile to handle this motor. [

If you can handle it, the Mojo 40 ARF freakin ROCKS!!!! on a Satio 82. Stupid stupid stupid power.
AND the ARF is in stock now. I know people are gonna say it cost more, however it is worth it. It's always worth paying a bit more to get a better flying bird.
Just got another one and it's pretty dam good with all the stock gear out of a NexStar.
If you want a kit, Chinn Yak. Highly advanced pilot can make the most out of the Yak.

Ken,
I know a little about your building skills and that you like to build. Do the MOJO kit. You will not be dissappointed. I have built a Mojo and a Burrito and they both are fun builds. Also, you will get to chose your covering and hardware. The MOJO 40 can be built to around 4# flat and will be CRAZY BALLISTIC on the .82.
