Just placed an order.
Tribute, TT pro 46, hitech 311, electron 6, apc 12.25X3.75. Will this be a winner.

I've had mine in the air about 10 times. running an OS 46ax with a 12x4 on 15% cool power turning about12700 rpm. This plane is a hot ticket. Its one of the best performing planes of this size that I've flown. hovers easily at a little less than 1/2 throttle. pretty stable at slow speeds wing rock was minimal and easy to control in harrier. plus this plane is pretty fast, zoom zoom. This plane is replacing a funtana40 that is part of my tail feather collection now.It seems they forgot to put the tip stall into this plane. Anyways tha best way to describe this plane in one word is Porsche.

I havent flown without the sfg's yet. That will be this weekend. Rudder authority is more than enough. The only problem with it is trying not to use too much. I'll report after my flight session tonight how it responds without the sfg's.

Took off the sfg's and in comes the tip stall. It would be my advice to keep them on. the performance is second to none. I cant really think of any reason to take them off.

Bad news with my flight session this morning. I came in for a snap roll and the wing ripped off, and with the electronics in the wing couldn't cut the prop, so as the wing floated down the fuse came barreling in crunch. back to the drawing board. If you have one of these planes or are thinking of buying one be sure to reinforce the wing mounting block on the front under side of the fuse. happy flying!!!

Any tricks to aligning the ailerons? Everytime I think they are neutral I see more flaps them the ailerons being straight out

Not good on the wing failure, someone else reported a failure in the ARF forums after a blender.

I have an OS .50 SX going in and now I am concerned...

Changed my mind again, and decided to stay light, so I am putting in a Jett .35L with a torque muffler.

Should be interesting.

I put 3 flights on this bird today, and I am impressed. A very stable plane that has very violent Snap. I couldn't get the spins completely flat, but very close. Didn't do much hovering or low stuff due to the 20 mph winds, but all and all, this seems to be a very nice plane. I had some issues with my muffler coming loose, but otherwise I am very happy.

I'm curious how the PNP performs with the stock EVO .36

If I had to do it over, I would have gotten the PNP and sold the motor.

I bought the PNP as soon as it came out. The engine flies the plane very well. Hovers nicely and has decent pull out. Not a rocket, though. Use the recommended 11X4 prop. The 12.25X3.75 is a definite step backwards. Put some foam between the tank and the fuse or you'll have serious foaming which puts air bubbles in the fuel line. Definitely replace the clunk fuel line. It's a loose fit and came off on me in flight. I put a 1500mah nimh battery in place of the supplied 600mah nicad and added a charging jack. The on-off switch plate was backwards also. I leave mine assembled because it's kind of awkward feeding the leads in and out of the wing. CG was dead on and lateral balance needed a 1/2 ounce on the left wing tip. Landings are so rock steady you'll get spoiled. One last thing, the tail wheel pulled out of the fuse. I guess they scrimped on the epoxy there.
