I have built five foam clad fuses from OMP, and they seem to be indestructable. What has be your experiences with the built up fuses?

Earl. The foam fuses with the CF I beams from OMP are almost indestructable. They are very stiff. However just plane foam fuse with balsa skin tends to snap pretty easy. Some sort of reinforcement is needed.
The epoxy tubes are also another way to stiffen the fuse. Ala. Mojo style. I've had several Mojo 60's and they are tuff too.

foam fuse weighs a little more and i think a little more trouble to build than a ply fuse, at lease the ply omp Fusion fuse is lighter than the foam, the other side is the foam fuse is a LOT easier to repair, you know just epoxy and stick back together. i just don't like to build foam fuse,i like to just pin everything down and hit it with ca. just my .02 cents worth
ENJOY!

NOTHING beats MoJo construction.
I've done several other planes and trashed the foam fuse for a glass tube. Easy to Modify if you've built a couple of Mojos.

i have a arf fusion now,the one before was a kit,as fare as i can tell the arf is ply sides and proubly some balsa in center, the new omp yak will be like the fusion arf from what i read.the fusion arf is a little lighter than the kit,at lease the one i have is.

No Earl, the entire sheeting in not ply. The sheeting arrangement is the same os the kit version using balsa and ply interlocked together. The ARFs are built up framing on the inside but still use the twin cf beams. The kits are foam core.
