If they do it's not in there website. Guess I'll have to get one from austrailia, no big deal they are very well priced and the shipping will be worth it.

Yep they got em. Thanks Dan, I thought I checked the whole site but I guess not. I like the size of the BB out of all the 40 size profiles currentlly on the market. Plus it looks just like a big Electric Shock with relatively bigger wing span, so you could get a good feel for the design.

Now I just gotta choose between a YS 63 or OS 46. I'm leaning towards the YS 63, could swing a little bit bigger prop with supercharged authority. Saito 82 would be cool to but guy's say the YS has better acceleration. Life is full of choices.

I think it all depends on how much you want to spend, if you want to go the cheaper way OS 46 is the way to go, lots of power!, of course the YS 63 will be bettter but more $$, also sometimes its a hard to tune engine, so maybe you can also consider a Saito 72 or 82!, powerwise the saito 82 is probably more powerful than all the other engines mentioned here. But still with a 46,63 or 72, the plane has enough power to do anything you want!

On that note, I wonder how a Magnum 46 would perform? You can't beat the price $59.99, I'm gonna do a search on it. I may end up trying it out and I will post the result's if I do use the motor. I have had a Magy .28 and it was a nice little power house with no issues just like all the other OS's I have had.

the magnum 46 has good power... BUT the transition is bad, i've had 1 magnum 61 and 1 magnum 46, and they had good power, just that the transition was really bad... i recommend going to OS 46 AX, or even OS 50 SX or 55 AX, or maybe 4 stroke??? depends on how much you want to spend [8D]

Phewww...That was a close 1. Thank's for the heads up Dan, you just saved this poor soul a major headache and 60 buck's. Sorry to hear that you had to find that 1 out the hard way.

Shame on me for doubting the all mighty OS. I remember I tried to save money by buying an Enya 35 for my helicopter. I spent about 2 or 3 month's trying to get that motor to run past midrange with out dying before I bought an OS 37,and as soon as I put the OS in it it fired up first crank or 2, I should know better by now. I can say from experence with this airframe, stay away from a 4 stroke. The vibes tear it apart. I had a Satio 82 in mine and 10 flights in and the plane just was falling apart. Truth is I think it was a combination of not the best built plane and the vibrations. The airframe is light enough to handle a OS46.

did you balanced your prop?, on one of mine i had an OS 70 4 stroke, and flew it really hard for a lot of flights, and i never had any problems.

this is the one where i had the os 70

Sorry to hear about the loss Ken. Have you been able to rebuild the frame and or beef it up and fly it? I have a Saito 1.50 in my Ultimate bipe and I balance my prop's before I ever use them and I know the Saito's can run about as smooth as a mechanical bull during throttle transition at thier best. Don't get me wrong I love the hell outta my Saito's, they just maybe a bit much for this application.

I would imagine the light built up profile frame could only handle so much abuse. Anybody know what the vibration of a YS 63 is like? I would be happier then a pig in s**t with an OS 46 2-stroke on this bad boy.

The YS vibes aren't bad, if it's tuned right....then again, everyone knows a YS won't run.......
I've got 2 YS .63's, a FZ and a FZs. If you look closely at the classifieds, you can find an FZ model cheaper than the FZs. My FZ is just as strong as the newer FZs, so I'd have to recommend either.

Thank's for the info wessco. I hear people have trouble with their YS's, but it usually just sounds like most of the people don't understand how to tune them.

I forgot to mention that I check and adjust the valve clearances on my Saito (usually only the exaust needs adjusting if any), they are an awesome motor...just that they tend to run a bit rough as far as vibes.

I ought to stop flapping my jaw's and order a YS so I can start breaking it in, I ran a gallon through my Saito on the ground with the cowl off before I ever flew it, but that's not really saying much considering I used a 20oz tank. I am on the 5th gallon and I could swear it's still not completly broke in, it just get's stronger and smoother with every run. [8D]

After using a YS .63 and a Webra 50 for the past year, I just went back to an OS .46AX. Man was I disappointed. Gonna try a different prop and then I'll probably take it off and go with another engine, probably one of my 2 YS'.

Hmmm...Have you had enough break in time, Like enough time to where you could try some 30% heli juice? [>:]

I would expect a bit less performance from the new OS 46 compared to the webra 50 or YS 63. I hope you get better performace with a new prop or fuel or more break in so you don't end up with a fancy paper weight.

The engine is well broken in. I'll still use it, I'll just sell it given an opportunity.

Sabre 48 V2....all up weight I'd say 4lbs. 6oz.........IMO, the 46AX didn't like the 12.25x3.75.....I put a 12x4 on there today and it was better, but still not the power of a Webra 50 or YS .63.....which these engines are bigger, mind you.
