Default Aeron vs the Sledge

I have been watching the board for about a year now and I don't think I have seen a comparison on here. I have the aeron and it's next in line. I want to buy the Sledge. My question is does the Aeron fly like the Sledge? Do the fly the same? Are they great in different ways? Just curious.

Billy, I have flown both and they are great in different ways. The aeron has great capabilities and if you have a kit, build it, you will not be disappointed. I am not sure when the sledge arf will come but it will. I need to pressure Robert some more for that . But if you do not mind building it goes pretty fast and it too is one you will not be disappointed you built. Heck, you saw mine fly at Memphis you seen what it can do, now imagine if someone good was flying it. Jeff Williams

Default I agree with Jeff

As Jeff said, the Aeron and the Sledge are entirely different kind of Profile Fun-Flys. I've had very little stick time on Jeff's Sledge, though one thing that I notice right off the bat, with the Sledge's tapered wing, it seemed to be easier to hover in the wind. These two are different animals. They both have their assets. It really boils down to personal preference. The Aeron has a short tail coupling, which typically means that it will flip quick, and elevator will be sensitive.
Billy - You have an Aeron Kit already? If so, build it - you won't regrete it. Then go for the Sledge 540.
