I balanced my knife arf right about where it said (at the hook) but it seemed a little nose heavy. I taped 4 pennies (2 per side) to it Sat and I liked it even more. Where do you balance yours?
p.s. Electrical tape will only hold pennies on for a couple of minutes. Sudden changes in cg can cause flight difficulties close to the ground.
p.p.s.s. Knife arf landing gear can be smashed flat with no other damage to the plane, and can even be bent back pretty straight while still attached.![Smile](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

The CG location will change as much as 1 inch due to fuel being burned. If you are making small adjustments, you need to be sure you have the same amount of fuel for each test flight. Otherwise you can't tell if the better flying was caused by less fuel in the tank or because you added some weight.
