Default TT .39H Pro

Just curious if anyone has any experience with one of these in a fun-fly application.

I know several of you guys like the TT .36H on a mouse can pipe for planes under 4 lbs. The .39 is ringed, weighs less, and is touted to have more power. I guess the big question is if the carb is worth a hoot?

Thanks
Michael

They also make the .36 in an airplane engine, which is why they are so popular for FunFly's...

A helicopter engine is not that great for a FunFly where you need a big fat prop.

Default Same engine..

The .36 and .36 heli are identical except the head...I did some porting on a pair one of each for a guy and had the degrees blueprinted..the same engine. The only difference in the head is the heli is larger on the outside..the head button is the same on both.

Just FWIW..haven't seen a .39.

The Heli and Airplane versions of these two are the same save the BIG HEAD on the heli versions which alows for better cooling in the confines of a helicopter.

Nothing wrong with better cooling regardless if its in a heli or airplane right?

Anyway, TT doesn't make the .39 in an airplane only version.

Click on the links below for a pic and some info.

P.S. I have yet to see a set of .30 size rotor blades that were not bigger or fatter than a FunFly Prop! (Just kidding)

Quoted from Heliproz.com Website: "New .39 Heli Pro engine, ringed design, runs very well and definitely has more power than any 32 you have flown! Compatible with OS32 mounting dimensions and mufflers."

Is that motor in a 25 case like the 32's?

That would work great for the 25 size Flip.

I know the motor is the same size as the .36, but I have never compared a 36 to a 25 side by side.

Is the prop shaft the same length? I thought there was a difference.
