They just renamed my town; I live in between the Dulles Airport and Leasburg. Northern Va. Not as cool as Va beach, but out of the DC traffic.

Cheers,

I've been flying the crap out of my Mojo

I'm also trying to finish the assembly of my Boxxer ARF that I started 3 months ago but I'm not having any fun or luck getting this thing done. Setting the top wing incedence is driving me nuts.
You need help, I'm here!

Thanks for the offer TT but I think I've got it set right or at least I hope it is because it's all glued in place. I was trying to use the GP laser incedence meter but finally just gave up on that POS and put the tape down the side of the fuse and marked the line.

I still peek in three or four times a week. Flying my Court Jester pictured in this forum. It is my intent to eventually place a vidio of it flying. I am learning 3d flying so have a couple good 3d flyers put it through the routine. Will keep an eye on this forum. I also have an original Brewster Buffalo profile with a os 70 four stroke. It is fun to fly since it is something different and eye catching. Logair

OK now I've got a question for you. I assembled the top and bottom aileron links the way I understand the manual says to do it but I'm getting much less down throw on the bottom aileron than the top aileron. Take a look at the pictures and let me know if I'm missing something.
(the second picture shows how much down throw the bottom aileron is allowed to travel due to the link)

Mine are not truly equal, but closer than that. Are the pivot points the same distance from the TE of the aileron?

Yeah the pivot points are directly above the TE on each aileron. I saw the picture you put on a different page showing an alternative way to mount the horns so I'm thinking about cutting them out and putting them in this way. From the looks of the picture, they should get a more even throw between top and bottom.

That's Mike's plan for using them. Give it a go. I'm not sure anyone has done it yet. I'd like to hear what you think of it.

I went ahead and changed how the horns are mounted and Mikes plan is MUCH better. Both ailerons move equal distances up and down.
