Ok, I'm back to the film method for this design. I'm close to covering and bought transparent blue MonoKote and checkerboard Ultracote. Can I iron the Ultracote over the Mono? Isn't the Ultra lower temperature? I need to find out in case I have to take back my film. Covering time is close.

Holly cow, forget about the MEC on the edges. Doesn’t that stuff cause tumors to grow on rocks? The missing ingredient in this Windex method is the monokote trim solvent. Take a Q-tip and wipe a thin layer of trim solvent on first then spray on the Windex. Once you squeegee it down. It won't move and once it is dry you can re-shrink without a bunch of bubbles. The trick is using just enough trim solvent. Too much and it removes some of the color, not enough and you run into some of the problems associated with Windex by itself.
Besides I think the Trim Solvent hallucinations makes you see a perfect covering job every time.
