Default Mojo 40 Setup?

I am in the middle of building a Mojo 40, first build in over 10 years. This is my first 3D profile and I want to know how people like to set up their radios to take advantage of the insane flight ability of the Mojo. Flaperons, coupled flaps/elevators, etc. What does everyone do to get the most out of their profiles? My radio is a JR X388S, so it should carry most of the mixing I will want to achieve.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,
At the moment the only mixing I am using on the MOJO is Rudder to elevator to correct for the plane going to the top on knife edge.

I like to have flapperon's (elev up, flaps down) and spoileron's (elev up, flaps up) set to a switch... but I only use them for fun now and again...

I set up ailerons and elevator to 60* in both directions and rudder to max throw, 1/8" shy of hitting the elevator halves. 40% expo except for rudder, which is 0%. I mixed 50% flapperon with elevator.

I'm also a thumb mix guy. If your mojo rolls to the top in knife edge there may be a small setup issue. Very light wheels maybe? Twisted rudder? Or even aileron differential. It should be pretty neutral in KE.

Mine has both flaperons and spoilerons mixed to the elevator. I also have a knife-edge mix which sees the rudder mixed to push a little down elevator and opposite aileron. The knife-edge mix makes knife-edge loops and 8's much easier, and the spoilerons are great fun for high-alpha flying. The flapperon mixed to elevator produces some of the smallest loops and bunts you'll ever see. I've had 17 flights with my MoJo over the pasr two afternoons- and I love it more each time I take it up. It's a fantastic model and is defiitely my current favourite
