John,
I used a combination of Nyrod and 2-5/6 wire. The Nyrod goes around the bend in the wing and the wire completes the linkage up to the carb.

Heres some pics of mine

Carb hookup.

It just takes a while of bending to get it right.

4 cycle linkages are always fun.

Look at what I did on my .60 Su-Do-Khoi.

John, on the bashed Knife I had with a ys 53, I mounted the throttle servo in the wing tight to the fuse. The throttle rod ran straight out the LE of the wing to the carb. I dont have a pic to show but it was really simple without bends or extra linkage.

well, that kinda was my next thought, I was going to put the servo in the top of the wing, maybe a micro, so it would be a straight shot.

Depending on the engine and wing alignment I'll set it up for a straight shot. In my Profile Hots, it's mounted to the bottom of the wing. On my Sudokhoi, the servo is mounted in the wing and the linkage is right throw the leading edge to the throttle.
But, I mount the fuel tank on the fuse opposite side of the motor.

There is no straight shot on this baby, maybe screw the servo into the top of the wing, that was my next idea, but didnt need to

Hi John,

Too late for you i guess, but if the link you have gives you trouble, you can run the nylon push and sleeve right thru the wing if your tank is placed close to the fuse. comes out almost a straight shot from the servo to the carb. a little goop to seal the guide tube in place, and your all set.

What control throws did you end up with? do you use the flaperon mixing?

I ended up using a ball link and making an odd throttle rod, there is a pic around here somewhere.

I went with max throws and 85% expo

I startet out with the recommended, then I had dual rates on max throw, I kept taking off on 1, adjusting the expo each time till I got a good number, now thats it for it!
