I've flown both.... I've seen both do incredible things.... I think both are awesome planes.....
The OMP has a constant thickness wing that tappers on the trailing edge. My buddy Jess believes that makes it more forgiving... more stall resistant. The OMP edge is shorter coupled that the Sledge.
Seems that the Sledge flys more like a 1/4 scale plane, snaps better and generaly has a bigger feel to it... and the OMP is more forgiving... flys more like a .40 size fun fly.....
Having said that.. Both planes are a blast to fly... I'm going to build both eventually.... I've got a sledge kit.. a sledge to build for a buddy... and soon I'll have plans for the OMP.....

I am finished covering the OMP edge and just about ready to cover the sledge.
OMP Edge + O.S.46 FX
Sledge + MVVS 49
Will give a side by side comparison later.
I say build them both!

They are both some of the best flying fun fly aircrafts I have encountered. They do have a few differences but are both a lot more stable than some of the other fun fly planes out there.
