looks really nice. I have 8 flights on mine now and it is the best I've flown so far. It is my 5th FF plane and is easiest to hover, harrier, knife edge, and knife edge loop. of course the CG and setup has alot to do with it. I have CG at rearmost reccomended location.

Well the field should be clear in about a week. It is almost ready to go, all the radio gear is in and secured just waiting for a set of carbon gear legs and wheels.

FLIGHT REPORT:
This thing will almost chew off it's own tail!!! Took off nice and level no bad habits as I can tell. A few laps to get comfortable and check out the engine. It was a bit rich tweek the high and the low end for a few flights then we are ready to rock.
Super fast waterfalls with a tendancy to turn on it's side with a little rudder it will stay even nose over tail.
It still has a little bit of flight triming to do it is not pitch stable at different speeds, I will try raising the ailerons a little and then check the thrust line.
Hovering was tough becaue I think I am using the wrong prop, APC 11-4, and it needs to be flight trimmed a little.
Lost one of the gear legs on the fith flight so I called it a day.
I love this plane !!!

I am going to put on some carbon gear when it comes in so I put on the gear from my Sledge. The nuts vibrated off and one gear leg fell away. It flies so slow I just landed on one wheel with no damage then spent a hour looking for the lost leg.

OK no flight today Too windy and the temp dropped to 40 Deg. Just not any fun like that will try tomorrow weather depending.
I put the gear back on.
And added two washers to give it some right thrust
Raised the ailerons one turn

How many washers did you end up adding?
Just curious since I will start building mine next week sometime.
Would like to swap e-mail with ya to get my set up as close to purfect and possible the first time since I am probably the only profiler in this neck of the woods. If ya dont mind that is?

I think they were about 1/8" washers.
You can get the kit straight from the manufacturer $60.00
No hardware though so keep that in mind.

Anyone feel free to ask questions :-)
Gave a flight demo for our local EAA chapter. Nerve racking but worth it. A little too much wind to get a solid hover but otherwise a good flight.
I did not like the plane at first because I found it harder to control than my TopCap but after two flights and I got used to it there is nothing I can't get it to do !!!!!
