It's still in one piece, but man, what a handful.
Plenty of Elevator, but not NEARLY enough aileron, using the stock prints/parts, and "sport" length (as opposed to "race" length) ailerons.
Anyone else ever try flying one of these planes for anything other than Quickie 500 competition? If so, what mods did you make to it to be more of a "fun fly" plane?
But, I'll give it this... With a .46 size engine... It's damn fast.

I was hoping for a fun sport plane but not so. I had a tower .40 on it and it was stable not too fast so you could make ridiculously low passes.
Then a friend of mine looked at the engine shook his head for a minute then handed me a JETT .46. OHHH MY G--and holy Sh-- this thing was fast. I had a problem I had not thought of before. It was flying so fast that I lost my peripheral vision it was just a blur, hard to tell where it was in relation to the rest of the world.
But yes it is not much good for a sport or a fun-fly
