Now I realize I'm gonna get 600 different answers and Many have already asked, but WHAT TO GET?
1) Profile
2) 40-60 sized (I hav an MDS 48 and an old OS 61 for power)
3) Good Flying (Good solid building plane)
4) An everyday flier (needs to be able to take a bit of abuse)

Currently leaningg towards one of the Morris Kits

I agree with hoverit - I'm building one right now and it goes real nice. Also I love my Sudokhoi. What a blast. Your going to love Profile flying! That is a good lean to lean tward Morris.

The Knife is great, but if I had it to do over again I would build a Menace for my first profile, then the Knife.

MDS = MANY-DEAD-STIKS

Get a TT46 or IRVINE or O.S 46 FX & a Morris or CG Extreme 330 3d,

AERON!
Agree with Gator on MDS. I'd also include the Webra 50 to the engine choices, though I must admit that it is hard to beat the cost of a TT46 PRO with its power. There are others that will put out better power, though not in that price range.

Key here is I have the .61 and the .48. I do have a Irvine .53 but thats reserved for my Sig SE (as seen below, minus some final deails.) Plus I land dead stick all the time anyway, don't know If I could land with power never have enough fuel to try .
I don't know anything about the MDS engines, It came with a trade (DogHouse 4/29/02 R.I.P) I'm thinking I have an Old ST .45 in the garage, if the 48 doesn't do it I'll dig it out. If I like this Irvine I might have to break down and pick up another.

Default Agreed

I really love the Knife. Thanks to Gator I have had the pleasure to fly a couple of them. Solid choice for your first. Build the kit!!!
Keep it lite. Fly it w/out flapperons, it really opens up the freestyle potential of this bird. You will have to use them for H2O falls.

No flaperons Jess? Just curious. I use them all the time now. Seems to help everything.
