Total SUCCESS!!!
Better? Well no
Worse? Well no
Here's our findings:
Building---Even easier!!!!!
Harriers---slightly less stable, lower AOA
Inverted Harriers---WOW!!!!!!!! (don't forget...rudder is opposite!!!)
Roll rate---better
Inside loops---same
outside loops/waterfalls---Better...WOW!!!
Hover---less stable, more sensitive
High speed---rock solid, no hunting whatsoever
Wing flex---worse, but didn't effect anything
Dead stick---same/find place to land NOW
Flat Spins---same

Will you stick to the "old" style after building this one? Have you tried a flat wing? I think you have too much time on your hands

Why not just continue the top of the wing back and glue the trailing edge together like a conventional wing. Seems to me that should give the best of both worlds.
Please ignore this suggestion if you have already tried this. Those of us that only build one plane a week can't possibly keep up to you.

Greetings from Sunny Queensland.
Or maybe as was suggested; build it with the flat wing and insert wire in the leading and trailing edges for reinforcement.

Tattoo,
First off, thanks for a cool design, the battle of the Qhors and the pizza boxes are on at our field in South Carolina. All the big IMAC stuff is sitting and the coro is getting the air time!
How about those wire landing gear? Could you give us a quick Idea on how they are bent and mounted?
Mine is almost ready and I'm thinking of going with the wire.
Thanks again.....we are having fun!!!!
