Can some one plz tell me, is the morris su do khoi worth getting? i was planning to power it with an irvine 53. I have heard a few people talking about enlarging the rudder an stab. Is this necessary? Is it worth enlarging the rudder? can some one plz enlighten me!

No need to change the design. You can get lots of rudder deflection as per normal instructions.
The Morris Sudokhoi is a blast to fly. I love mine (I'm on my second). For some Sudokhoi videos: http://archive.ncsa.uiuc.edu/Cyberia..._sudokhoi.html

Depends what you want out of it, to learn to hover then stock would be perfect. To do stable elevators or stable high alpha stuff then some mods help, keep the wingtips off too. If youve seen frazers then you would notice hes got a subfin on the rudder. oher than that there an awesome model to learn to hover...

Born2fly3D- I have a stock su-do with a .46Fx swinging an APC 11.5X4, a 720 Nimh 6V AAA pack running my mini hitec 225MG's all the way around with a micro HS-81MG on the throttle and it is a 3D monster (IMHO).It's weight is just under 4 LBS. It does all the 3D maneuvers very well and has more than enough rudder authority. I have about 70 flying hours on it and it is a rock solid airplane. I have a few pic's in my gallery of my su-do. I hope this helps. Ricky

Boy he's right...I've seen him fly this 3 D MONSTER !
Propnut1 has had got more Su-do's than he's got pairs of drawers,,,his input would be good here too....I've had 2 su-do's myself, learned to hover with it....G

I love my SuDoKhoi.... I've got an Irvine .53 on mine with standard BB servo's... I wouldn't modify the tail feathers at all... I added an inch to my rudder and I think it makes it too sensitive... Mine is a little heavier that 4 1/2 lbs.
Does awsome harriers and hovers great... I've flown that super light SuDoKhoi of Rickys... Awesome bird.. Really flys light... Much easier to anticipate the stall point...

I'm flying a stock Sudokhoi (kit built) same engine and prop as Citation X. Definitely go for it. It's my favorite plane!!!!!
Oh, I left my wingtips off too and squared off my rudder top so it would more closely match my 27% MW Extra300S. You can see them both in my avitar.
