Default Covering Video By "the Termagator"??

I bet that title will get some action. We all know how good TERMAGATOR is at covering.I think he should make a video of his tip & technics. So the rest of us could "WOW" the crowd at the field with our new found skills. If he gets enough people begging, it could happen. I will start the begging,"PLEASE".It doesn't have to be done to day, next week is fine. Course I expect to pay something.

Then I want my copy tomorrow via overnite mail. You will pick up the postage also won't you ? ;-)

You do a great covering job. If you ever do a video I would be happy to BUY a copy. Thanks for the time you take explaining some of the covering jobs you have done. I may never be able to make it come out like yours, but I'm learning as I go.

Default Covering Video By "the Termagator"??

My first covering job.

I spent two hours wasting pieces of Ultracote for before I got the hang of it, an hour to cover the bottom of the wing, then started right in with the flag I read about from Termigator's post.

Count me in on the video thing. I'd love to be able to watch it happen live. As for paying for it, I'm good for 25 bucks worth. I don't care if it only costs you 5 dollars to make and ship it. We would still be coming out ahead.

Thanks for the posts anyway even if the video never comes.

Default Covering Video By "the Termagator"??

After tacking down the egdes with my iron I eventually would up ironing the whole thing down. The first place I did it, the iron was too hot and I got a few little bubbles between the colors, so I kept on working quickly around all the cut areas and cooled off the iron on a wet sponge whenever it started to bubble the trim.

I was too nervous to use the trim solvent because the flag looked so good, so I just ironed it all. I'm sure termigator's is cleaner looking than mine up close, But at 5+feet you can't see anything.

And with the white background you could have something different on the other side. Which might be nice. I love the clear flag on Swany's bird but I would want a solid patch somehwere.

Yeah, I'm still working on my fuse design, probably electric profile, probably Edge 540 . It's my first scratch plane, so I'm taking it slow.

The only difficulty I had, was that it was an open structure, which kinda made the credit card scraping hard to do.
