Do you think this tuned pipe mount will work?
Hey guys I am just finishing up my giant profile edge and needed to mount my pipe. This is what I came up with. Think it will hold up? Its a pine wood block glued to the fuse with a plastic wire tie around it. I have had a mvvs 49 pipe held on with a plastic tie but this is the mvvs 2.15 gas engine. Will it be to hot. I guess I will find out but I thought I would get you opinion first! Thanks.

What a good sight to wake up to in the morning. The plane looks great, wish my cover seems and joints looked that good.
I dont know how the zip-tie will work in a high heat zone like that but its a very clean installation, I like it.
Let us know how it holds up.

Thanks guys for the kind words. I build my planes to fly and not to look at. So for the covering scheme I follow the KISS principal. Keep It Simple Stupid! I like the idea of running the wire tie through fuel tubing though! The weather is crappy this weekend and I can't fly next weekend so this bird will have to sit for another two weeks!
