Default Finally Finished!

This is my FF Taco with a carbon fiber rod as the "backbone." Covered in Ultracote and with an Irvine .25. Can't wait to fly it but the weather here has been WINDY. I'll post a couple of pics.

Nice job Idranoel!! Looks great! What did she come out to weigh? What prop are you running on the Irvine?

I don't have any way of weighing it so I don't know the weight. I imagine it is about average because I didn't do anything to beef it up anywhere but at the same time was not trying to cut weight anywhere. I just did it according to plan. I am running a 8x6 prop. I know, I know--it's not the ideal prop. It is the only thing my LHS had in stock. (Actually, I don't have a LHS. Can you believe that Columbia, SC, the capital of the state, has NO hobby shops. One just opened up but it is mostly cars so no props, I called them. I was up in Greenville over the weekend and picked up this one. I'll just have to make do until I get something else.

That is awsome looking.....I am such a sucker for transparent covering, I would use it if my builds turned out clean.

You just cant beat clear covering jobs, it adds a lot of depth. Here is my clear covered tacoII
