Default Menace Plus - 75%

I started my Menace Plus tonight... Looks like it's gonna be a fun little plane.. I've got a little Magnum .15 for it. I'm not sure what servo's I'm going to use yet... Probably HS-81's.... Target weight is under 2 lbs.

Since I think Paul is a great builder and all, I want to see him build a Hardbet so he can post a bunch of construction pictures, give building advice, give us a flight report, and all that other good stuff. Come on Paul, get with it!

Man.... So many planes... so little time.... I've got building projects stacking up in the Garage... and here I am in Buffalo for work with no planes to work on......

I did build a little foam micro pizza box to fly in the hotel... It was a blast!! As far as the Hard bet goes... I don't think Kevin is speaking to me until I finish my Aeron......

I will always speak to you Paul - You just might not like what I have to say! <LOL> I know Paul has in his building queue the Ecstasy since he and Gator pick one up in Perry, Ga.

Wade - You know you can always pick up a Hard Bet Mk III and post your construction pics, etc. etc.

Default last one

This thing flew great out at SMALL... really had a blast with it... It came out to 1 lb 10 oz. Used HS 85 servos', Hitec 555 rx, 720 mAh 6 volt battery and a Magnum 15 swinging a 8 x 4 apc prop.

Loops were phenomenal!!! Inside and outside loops on the axis of the wing..... rolls were very tight and about 3 per second.... Harriered great.. hovered pretty good and the spins were way tight!!!

Great little bird!!

I've been following this thread with interest. I bought one from Mark. I'm almost finished framing it up. Paul, what size and brand of fuel tank did you use? While on the subject of Fuel tanks what size and brand did you put on your Menace?

Nice plane paul!! How is the hovering performance? Is the pull-out that great? I guess this solves some problems with "Does a .15 3D plane exist?". Do you have any plans for the 75% version? Thanks Paul.

It hovers great on the .15.... The Magnum is still breaking in so it's a little fat on the low end still.... but plenty of authority and plenty of power....

Mark Shope is kitting this plane.. You can reach him at (570) 769-2760. Or send me a pm and I can supply details.
