OMP Edge CG
I've finished my Edge (pictures soon). I'm shooting for the 1-3/4 to 2" behind the spar for the CG, but having problems. I have standard servos in the rear, and a Thunder Tiger .46 Pro up front. To balance the plane, I need to slide the engine almost to the tip of the plane, which seems a little insecure and looks a little strange. Otherwise, it looks like I'm going to need 2 oz of nose weight with a "normal" engine mounting (where all 4 screws go through the ply reinforcing plates).
The battery (4 cell) is as far up in the front of the wing as it will go. Is it possible to mount the battery in the nose in front of the wing? Any other ideas? The manual suggests moving the servos out of the tail, but I think I'd go with the extra 2 oz before I attempted that.

I have built 3 and all of them balanced fine. os 46 fx and standard flight pack. If I can remember correctly my CG is a somewhere around 1 and 3/4 inches behind the spar.
