I am flying a Goldberg Extreme 330. My radio will mix elevator/flap but have never used this. When do you use this mixing and what setting should I start with?
Thanks guys.

Use 100% on flaps! I sometimes use this in hovering and if you also set up another switch for the opposite(spoilers!) this will help with harriers. 2/6 will also give you square movements. And it really helps in slow flight! you can really slow the bird down on landing.

I usually dial in elevator only(w/o flaps) until it starts to snap in the loops. Then dial in flaps until it no longer "flies" through the loops. If you go too far with the flaps, a lot of airplanes will actually pitch negative out of the loop. Or it will mush/flip through them losing lots of altitude. Try mixing up flaps(spoiler) with down elev too, a lot of my planes will actually loop tighter outside than inside.
