ok guys help me out.
what engine have you mounted and what finished weight?
do you have the arf or the kit??
how much lighter can the kit be assembled compared to the arf?

Plan built mine. Running a Saito 56. Ended up a bit over 4 lbs. Easy to build and is the best Morris plane I've had yet............John

Os 46 fx kit built Last time i weighed it it was right at 4 1/2 pounds. But that was a little glue and packing tape earlier! HE HE It seems to like the MA 11-5 plastic prop the best. Stock muffler with baffle removerd. Plenty of power to pull out of a hover. The arfs are very nice. Two of my buddies have them with the 46 fx and they love them. I don't care for the trim scheme on the arf though.
