Billy Hell won this plane..and I traded him out of it.

I know it kinda messed with him since he had won it he felt obligated to at least comment on it. But hey, speed ain't Billy's bag. And it sure won't 3D!

So while this isn't a profile or fun-fly, I wanted everybody to know what happened to the Billy Hell Whiplash. It flew today for the first time. It has been ready for about 5 months but my pit man/chunker has been down in his back. He is well!

So thanks to Rick at Aerojet for donating the plane, thanks to Billy for trading it to me. We had a Billy Damn Hell ball flying this thing today!! Thanks again!!

Some guys got all the luck!

How fast can it roll? Or maybe I should ask, how fast can you count?

Funny you should ask about the rolls. I had made a few passes getting the feel for it and decided to try some rolls. Ultra blurr. Several per second, no way to even try to count them. And this was on low rates, I never even tried high rates. Thank goodness for expo, that could have been ugly.

After watching Jerry Smith fly his bird I wish I had it. Really amazing. A plane like that might make a little shaky!

If it survives until September you guys can check it out. It is right radical, and I hope noise isn't an issue. It is easily the loudest RC plane I've ever heard.

Quite a bit different than an Outlaw..the Outlaw is quasi-manuverable..this thing just hauls ***.
