THE BUS flies !!!!!!
Well it finally came together (THE BUS). And what a combination. Final weight is 4lbs 12 oz and powered by a TT46 PRO and morris conversion rossi pipe. The fuse is of my design and #'s but the wing is a sledge built with all contest grade balsa. The tail feathers are for a Top Cap. The double tappered wing with the long tail moment makes for a steady paltform. Does tuck to the belly ever so sligthly in knife edge but is rock solid in high alpha. I feel putting the wheel pants on will clean it up so there is no coupling in knife edge. It is the best waterfall plane I have flown to date. I only put up 5 flights yesterday with it, but hope to get back out after the rain stops. Will have it at the NC pro bro get together.. BAD ANDY

thanks
Thanks Paul, now that I know she flies well, I can add some stripes to the covering to dress her up a little. If you remember my earlier posts about the ba-koi and the ba-cap, that is also a great plane but it used a constant cord wing. I wanted to try both versions of wings with the different tail moment #s and it has been alot of fun, I have learned alot on the way building these profiles. The ba-cap is on the bench now with fuse mods going on and should be back in the air in 3-4 days. You can never get enough of these things can you??? I added a pic of the ba-cap before fuse mods.... flats
Chris, The Bus really surprised me in flats. Inverted flats are as tight as my extreme was and will maintain altitude but I couldnt get it to climb out. Upright it held a nose down attitude slightly and couldnt hold altitude. more flights will show more but for now it seems to be a keeper..
Termagator, if you can find a way to make it, you are welcome to fly any of my profiles bud......... BAD ANDY

Finally got a photo of the SCHOOL BUS with some trim options. Had to add windows, school bus and yes the stop sign arm is there also.. Later folks the bus is leaving, and by the way- I am having problems with the cg. Everytime I go into a hover the kids all slide to the back of the bus., hell just wish they would stop puking in it.lol ... BAD ANDY
