Default Reciever Battery

I bought a OMP Edge 540 V3 in a swap meet. I have never used a 6.0v battery, do I need a 6v or can I use a 4.8v? What mAh battery do I need?

yes you can use a 6v pack as this is very common. Most ffolks will use a 1200 or better in a 40 size profile. All depends on how strong a servo you put in and how aggressive you fly it.

If it's the 47" job lots of us are using the lighter weight AAA size cells. I think they are 720mah and green Sanyo cells. If you use all digital servos you might need AA cells though some folks are saying but standard servos work great. Check out the selection at Radical RC Batteries.
